For whom the bell tolls - Raisa - 4/14/2026 Backdated to the night of the 12th
Raisa breathed deep. The hints of salt, the deeply-ingrained smell of moss, the crimson leaves clinging steadfastly -- this was home. The peaks of Northfall had never failed to make her comfortable, but this, this was where she belonged. A part of her would never forget that. The sea in the distance, the forest surrounding them, it was perfect. Even the glittering sheets of snow swirling about them, wind whipping about, the thought of the plague couldn't ruin her good mood. She missed it here. This is it, Bo,she sighed happily, This is Ichorwood. Where I was raised, where I ruled, where she failed. Raisa just smiled. I can't wait to show you everything. She kissed his cheek, nuzzled against him for a moment as they stood on the cusp of the forest. I always thought I would raise my kids here.Admitting it wasn't entirely sad in nature, just thoughtful. I missed it. I love Northfall, but this is home. Before she could move on, Raisa paused, blinking. Her head swung around to her other side, and she rested her muzzle against the side of her stomach, trying to reach beneath herself. Her ears swiveled, like she was listening. Bo,she whispered, no more than a breath, Feel, underneath!Would he be able to feel the... squirming? Turning? Kicking? The Rodion wasn't entirely sure what it was she was feeling, or if it was too far inside for him to feel. She thought she could feel some brief little bits of movement from her muzzle, but it was hard to tell when it was... all her. |
