Just a stoic statue, fit for a nobody. - Discordia - 5/13/2026

Discordia padded around the borders of Jakten a little closer to the inner reaches of the pack. She had considered her conversation with her father. Even though the others may not like her, a small piece of her kept vigil. Not only for those missing from her trip, but she also noticed some of her own littermates missing.  Momma and Daddy were busy, she knew that, but she could still keep an eye out, right? Plus, she wasn't going too close to the borders, just enough to see if there was something that she remembered them smelling like. Maybe even glimpse one she remembered.

A little part of her felt selfish for wanting to find them herself; she wanted to be loved by them or at least liked. A little part of her wondered if she could help them if maybe they would like her too? Still, Daddy had said to be careful because some didn't like her being nice and sweet. Her ears folded slightly at the thought. Quickly, she corrected herself, mimicking the way Mama held herself. She could be just as pretty and brave as Mama. Lifting her head, she practiced stalking the area until she was pretty sure she looked like a princess should...well, until a small bird caught her attention.

As it flew around her head, she laughed and nipped at it playfully, a paw batting in its direction. I gotta practice, I can't play. She said softly to the bird that chirped and seemed to land on a nearby branch. She settled on her haunches for a moment, staring up at the bird. She loved home. Loved trying to be the princess she was meant to be, and yet she couldn't help but wonder what it was like to simply exist and be viewed as she viewed the little creature.

RE: Just a stoic statue, fit for a nobody. - Snuh - 5/16/2026

The warm breeze against her fur, a nice way to stay cool on this sunny day. Snuh was done with her midday patrol, ready for a bit of relaxation. Her trip to her den was cut off, by the figure of a small wolf just up ahead. She looked to be a pup, not a year old but certainly not a newborn either. Their fur pattern seemed.......familiar in some way. She had definitely never seen this pup, but that's when it struck her.

She remembered that her sister Saga mentioned a family, and with how her off white colors reminded Snuh of Saga, this had to be one of her pups. She gave a soft 'wuff', calling out to the pup before she came closer. "Well hello there." Snuh said in a soft, cooing voice, her tail swaying from side to side, excited to figure out if this was indeed a relative of hers.

"What's your name? My name's Snuh." She then lowered herself to the ground, front paws crossing together as her tail slowly padded on the ground as she talked. "Would you happen to be related to a certain wolf named Saga?" She really hoped the answer was yes, as the more she looked at this pup, the more she reminded Snuh of her close sister.

Discordia turned to the soft wuff that beckoned her attention. For a moment, she stayed quiet and tilted her head, listening to the woman speak and watching her tail wag. She remembered what Daddy said, though, and was hesitant. The lady seemed nice enough; she looked so fluffy, too. The girl bounced slightly as she moved towards the woman; she didn't feel afraid of her. Maybe she would even want to be her friend! Snuh, you're really pretty. You look soft like Mama. My name is Discordia. She moved a bit closer as the woman lay before her, a soft tail wave of her own as she settled on the ground and inched towards the woman's paws.

It was when the woman asked about the pretty lady that she pushed herself up slightly, her ears falling. The pretty lady is Daddy's friend. I...I don't know her really. I don't think she knows me or likes me. A lot don't seem to anyway... Well, it wasn't really untrue even if she couldn't prove it. In her young life, few ever really seemed to care about her. While perhaps her parents offered some sort of protection from outright harm, she still knew the looks they gave her and how the other children treated her.

Discordia stood, backing away slightly. While the woman wasn't likely to hurt her in her home, the girl had known the sting of rejection all too well for someone her age. I can call for Momma or Daddy if you want better help finding her. It wasn't that Discordia was opposed to trying to help the nice, well, at least currently nice lady, but she wasn't very sure she was prepared to face that kind of pain again just yet, but she had to learn, right? I don't mind helping you...if you want... Her voice was small, definitely very un-noble of her. But she at least had managed to right her ears and look the woman in the eyes as she offered, even if she expected her to be upset and walk away.

Whoops, looks like Snuh had the wrong mother in mind for Discordia. She seemed to mention Jaxxon, Saga's mate, but if she wasn't Saga's child, then something else was going on. Granted, Snuh had just joined Jakten, and this situation might be something that was known to everyone, so Snuh was not going to press about it. Discorida then offered to find Saga for her, which lead Snuh to softly laugh. "Such kindness, I do appreciate it, but it won't be needed." Snuh stretched herself on the ground, getting a bit more comfortable as she continued.

"You must forgive me, I mistook you for a child of Saga. She's my sister whom I've joined Jakten to reunite with her. She told me that she had children, and I mistook you for one of them." Her thoughts then went to something that Discordia said earlier, about how others didn't seem to like. Discordia seemed like such a kind pup, Snuh had no idea why others wouldn't like her. "You're such a kind wolf, I'd like to get to know you sweetie." Her tail swayed in a slow, rhythmic manner as she smiled towards the pup. If she didn't have many friends, Snuh was going to make sure that she was going to be one of them.
