Best. Vacation. Ever.

Fable was great. Epona was great. Foxglove was great. Everyone here was great! Everyone was kind, and helpful, and had something to teach him or show him. The meadow was unlike anything he'd ever seen, and the mountain -- the mountain! There was one behind his home that Apple said belonged to someone else and they should never, ever go there, but this one seemed different. More craggy, less foliage. Harsher. Ice-capped and fierce against the horizon, not a place it looked like one went to vacation. Miss Fable said her brother lived there!
It'd be cool, he thought, to check it out before he went home.
Maybe he'd ask about it later.

For now, he was just exploring the meadow. Surely, he didn't know it all yet, right?

A vast meadow of bluebells spread before him, and Persi went galloping through them with a string of happy, playful yips, crooked tail high and fractured leg apparently unbothered. The sun was bright, the breeze was pleasant, and the growing young boy was just happy to.... be. To run, to play, to not worry about Apple's sharp call to return.
