As we walk, - Āzon - 6/26/2026

⚔︎

The moon's light casted a gentle glow on the meadow that night. A calm breeze blew through the sunflowers, which stood tall and proud in the summer's reign, and set the scene for a peaceful sleep. Azon hadn't slept that night, however. Bright eyed and wide awake from dusk till now to watch the sky change from dusk till now with an uncharacteristic patience about him. His ribs rose and fell steadily beneath his furs, his haunches planted to the ground and forest fire gaze set against the sky's constellations.

Judal would've liked this — wherever he was within the sky. But he wasn't here anymore…hadn't been in a long time. Fuck, Azon was lonely.

He knew it for a while now, but deep down he hid it. Even creating a habit out of striking up random conversations with strangers just to feel something. What purpose did he serve other than simply existing, though? The man never knew, never truly figured his shit out. Which was probably why he was here, staring at the sky and having a midlife crisis.

He titled himself back, eventually, to fall on his back and trace the stars with his eyes. Calm and steady was his mind in the moment, but not his heart. It wandered somewhere — he just couldn't figure out where it was leading him to as usual…..

RE: As we walk, - Freya - 7/9/2026

Skill : 「 Heartbroken 1/5 」
Around 2 weeks or so after getting being attacked by Fairytale, punctures and abrasions still healing

Freya had been walking aimlessly for weeks. All she could properly think was to go north. Away from Mistveil and the hollow of fog. Away from danger. Away from whatever history she had tangled into that part of the world. Despite how desperately her heart may have yearned for those that shattered it long ago.

The woman’s legs trembled slightly, muscles twitching from exhaustion. Areas she’d been attacked were still in desperate need of proper attention and rest in order to recover properly. Though for now all she cared about was getting away. Keep walking. Don't stop. Go further.

The sun fell beyond the horizon and the moon filtered the world in a cool, silver glow. Freya stopped long enough to sit, looking up towards the stars that filled the night sky. It was enough to pull her from reality for a moment, simply enjoying the beauty and tranquility it offered.

A small streak of light bolted across the sky in less than a second—had she blinked she would have missed it. A falling star. A precious phenomena to wish upon. Freya closed her eyes and allowed her desires to rise from her soul and into the night.

Upon reopening her eyes, she spotted a figure if white lounging in the grass. Hesitation took hold first, but then came concern. Were they okay? Was she going to be attacked again if she approached? Would they lash out if they thought she was trying to sneak up on them?

Excuse me… Freya’s voice was soft and low, carrying on the night breeze with careful measure. She didn’t want to frighten them.

The Nightshade limped closer, still allowing enough area for escape should either of them wish to run. Are you in need of any help?
