Getting The Hang Of This Thing - Gekirin - 7/5/2026
It had been at least a few moons since his arrival back on the island. Gekirin was getting used to his home once more, getting into the habit of making his patrols and making sure that all was the status quo. For him it was a lucky evening, as nothing eventful was happening and all seemed to be peaceful within the Dynasty's borders. So when he was finished, the dark man found himself gazing up at the starlit sky with utmost wonder. A happy smile on his face with a slight wave of his tale.
It felt good to get back into the rhythm of things now, filling his life with purpose as he assisted Izumi with anything that she needed. Gekirin still could not believe it when she asked him to be her right hand, finding it most honorable a position. But also a most serious and cautious endeavor. However he would not fail, just simply a matter of finding his own pace and working with it. Nothing more and nothing less. A calm mind continued to watch the stars quite happily, until the faint sound of someone within the greenery caught his attention. Ears swiveling back, he called out to the one coming his way.
