I'm far too ashamed to do it with you watching me - Asny1 - 7/16/2026

Familiar….or was it?

The dragoness felt a strange draw to the vale that lied just beyond these boarders, but knew better than to cross them. Though Asny’s curiosity did not stop her from lingering on the outskirts every now and then — because it was the only memory her head could hold together without….collapsing. Yet if this place was so important, then why couldn’t she remember anything.

A tentative paw step drew her even closer, towards the mountainous expanse and pine forests. Her only barrier was the collection of scents and markings — surely whoever inhabited these lands wouldn’t like the idea of a rouge loitering near their lands. Honestly, this was the closest Asny ever gotten these past few weeks….and since she was already here…. H-hello? Is anyone….there? Maybe howling would’ve been more affective than this—

If Asny had the confidence to…

Hexx had taken to walking the borders more than sleeping. It was routine, but not mindless. Every circuit of Dawnbreak's edges was another chance to ensure nothing slipped through unnoticed. There were too many vulnerable lives tucked safely behind these scent marks now. Tiberii's children, among others. Thise who deserved to grow without fear creeping into their den mouths.

And somewhere beyond those same borders... Monty. The thought lingered heavier than he'd admit aloud. Tiberii had told him his son had been here, close enough to smell home, and close enough to leave tracks. He remained on his side of the border, giving her the same respect she had unknowingly offered him. There is, he rumbled, voice level and cold as the stone beneath his paws.

You're standing at Dawnbreak's borders,

A man emerged from the base of the trees.

Tall and hale, like a ghostly shadow within the vast snowy plains and snow crusted pines. His silver eyes beheld her as coldly as his voice did, and she stepped back at once. Ears flattened against her crown and eyes averting, licking her lips nervously. A-Asny does not mean to intrude… The woman tried to reassure, yet her voice came out painfully meek — she cringed at the sound of it. Asny was only curious of the vale from afar… Which was…half a lie. Asny wanted to explore, to know more of what invisible force from her memories pulled the woman here.

A tail tucked between her legs and against her stomach. Asny….didn’t want to leave. Not when she’d finally found direction….but…..

Asny will leave, I-If you wish…

She would not force her stay if she was not welcomed….
