dying to raise the dead - Isaiah - 8/6/2026 skill: hunter 1/5 Belvadair The pack was growing. Now he could barely manage to get through the Vale without tripping over either one of the litters they'd welcomed. Wild to think that his sister was a mother, and another was going to join her in motherhood! Maybe all his sisters would be mothers before the year turned. He could think of none better to be trusted with the next generation than his siblings. They had done a lot of raising each other, after all. He licked his lips as he peered over a bank of tall grasses, crouched down low enough that he would hopefully evade the notice of the deer that he was stalking. She didn't seem to be a mother, perhaps too young still, but he could tell that by the angle of her back leg she probably never would be. Her steps looked painful, and Isaiah thought of the sharp pain of breaking his front leg. But this had not healed as his wounds had, between the meddling of half the pack and the care of Dalmatia, Sølvi, and Svajonė. The doe fumbled as she tried to step, bleating out in pain, and Isaiah's stomach lurched. It would be a mercy - and it would provide for his family at the same time. He leapt smoothly, but still the injured doe gave chase, and he cursed under his breath. So much for a quick mercy kill. RE: dying to raise the dead - Belvadair - 8/7/2026 ![]() Belvadair can resort to any rating — Clear and sunny? While not overly baking him like bread? Belvadair took the chance to be out and about. Dark paws padded lightly against the snow. He had sulked in the little bits of cover where he could. But he quite enjoyed not dying in the sun today. A painful bleat caught his ears. His amber gaze darted to the sudden disturbance. In the horizon, he saw it. One of their own chasing an injured deer. Belvadair winced, a slight bare of teeth. He could only reflect back on the.. sheer pain of the snake bite. Ouch. However, It took no time before the golden scout to sprint for it. A ball of darkness that beat heavy against the snow. His goal was simple. Be hasty enough to assist his own. — LANGUAGES; Common |
