Densely populated by tall forests, the few open fields of this region are bountiful and green unlike any other. An abundance of prey and herbs can be found within the trees and mountains decorating the land, and a number of woodland creatures can be seen scurrying quickly through its depths.

Her arrival could have been at a better time, not within the dead of night. Yet it was what the world had given to her, awakening her from a slumber that almost didn't end. Pale blue eyes opened up from dark lids, equally startled and intrigued. Ulloriaq slowly rose to her feet, stretching out her legs but not going anywhere just yet. There was much to take in. Large trees stood over her, perhaps hundreds of years old carrying the scent of evergreen all around her.
Below her feet, grew many kinds of herbs and the occasional flower, bursting with life. Above the darkly panted wolf, rose the moon in all her splendor. She started to move along, coming to an opening in the forest where she could get a good view. Now sitting just on the outskirts, Ulloriaq stared up at the mystical sphere, finding solace and comfort within its glow. At least for a time, the woman was at peace.

A brisk shudder ran up the wolven man’s spine as he walked, rustling his fur as he trembled with a hiss. Even with a thick pelt like this, the chill still managed to creep its fingers against the nape of his neck…
Iolas sighed, his breath visibly emerging as a faint cloud of vapors, which quickly evaporated in the cold night air. He found himself staring until the phenomenon concluded, which then drew his eyes to the stars above. His sour mood sweetened a little at the sight… What was more charming than the beautifully gilded night sky? It reminded him of the jewels his mother was fond of, particularly the white crystals and diamonds.
Before he could linger upon the memory of her, the slightest whisper of movement had his ear twisting in alert, shoulders tensing up. His eyes searched around, but found nothing, so he quickly ducked and used his nose to see what he could not. Ah, a scent, sure enough someone was nearby.
He followed, his light paws muting his steps, until he found the source of the disturbance, and arguably, it was more magnificent than the sky.
In fact, this she-wolf appeared to rival the appearance of the stars. Perhaps she was of the stars? Was this a mythical creature he was laying eyes on? Iolas didn’t dare approach yet; he hadn’t observed many wolves in this land, and he had no idea if the magics that ruled it could create a being that is both alluring and dangerous…
His brothers used to tell him of mythical sirens, or kelpies, perhaps this was one born of the stars, rather than the sea. No, he was not a fool, he would observe her first. Though, thus far she only appeared to be admiring the stars… It was rather endearing. He hunkered down to watch, tilting his head slightly in interest.

Ulloriaq hadn't heard yet the trailing behind her, ears barely twitching as her light eyes still gazed off into the heavens. The stars twinkled like glittering jewels, happy and content to shine their beauty upon the world. A happy and content sigh was allowed to leave her lips. Was such magnificence common for such a place? The dark being barely understood it, though here she was, happy to accept things just as they are. Her soft rump took a seat beneath an opening in the forest's canopy, tail sweeping the forest floor with quiet excitement.
Only then did the night breeze tell her that she wasn't alone. But rather then turn to face who ever it was, she remained simply happy to have some kind of company. Perhaps they were here for the stars as well. Hello? If someone is there, no need to be alarmed. I mean no harm. Ulloriaq tried to be understanding, happy that someone was taking an interest in this ordinary little wolf.
