It felt weird being part of a pack again.

Needing to adhere to rank, sleep amongst the masses, and live around new faces that will eventually become acquaintances. The concept had been foreign to her for so long that Eloise almost felt like a baby fawn learning to use her legs again. She'd grown up in one, of course, but her previous attempts to join others had never lasted long.

The only real group she'd stayed committed to in the past was her found family of wayfaring mercenaries — and they were very much in the past now...Bless them.

Now Ronan had welcomed her into their ranks, and she felt ever so foreign. So out of place. Yet, for the sake of not sitting down and being indecisive, Eloise set out to do what she was good at and patrol.

Her trail today lead her outside of the boarders and near the surrounding areas of Ravorn, seeking anything that might've seemed suspicious to her.

Her attention, admittedly, had not been sharp enough to notice the man who approached her at first. The cheers and bustling that came from the celebration within Ravorn seemed to drown everything out – regardless of how far she’d got from the boarders. So when she pivoted her head to look ahead of her, she was met with quite a scare. O mo chreach! she exclaimed, her hackles practically spinning off her shoulders. You scared the shiet out of me! Eloise had not heard what he’d said to her at first either, only noticing her when their path’s aligned.

– and she still couldn’t hear him, either. Not when they were still so close to the festival nearby.

HUH? a brow raises, canting her head to the side with her ears erected towards him – nothing. His words were still drowned out by all the noise behind them. WHAT!? I CAN BARELY HEAR A WORD COMIN’ OUT YER MOUTH! she exclaimed once more as if to override the noise. Yet try as she might, she might as well have been deaf.

Her ears flattened against her head, eyes narrowed in genuine annoyance. Not at the man, particularly, but the fact that his words were falling upon deaf ears. Olive hues looked from left and right, sniffing out something and somewhere. Until she eventually nods her chin in the opposite direction and turns to walk towards that path. Bidding him to follow her

–hopefully, to a much quieter location….

After a couple of yards into the forest, Eloise would find her way into a clearing where trees circled around a patch of grass. Illuminated only by morning light's glow. Distant chatter that lignered from the festival nearby told the knight that she had not tread too far, and it releif flooded her chest and she breathed in the warm air. A satisfied smile forming on her features. Ahhhh…, now this is much better! The forest fae exclaimed, stretching her forelimbs out breifly before straightening back up to face him. He smelled like the handful of the wolves within giant's throne she'd only seen in passing, so not completely a stranger. Though her focus was more on what they'd approached her about in the first place.

Well of course that wasn't the intention. I'd kick yer furry arse if ye tried it! Eloise quipped with a mischevious grin, raising her brows in amusment. She merely jested, though — well, half-jested. An exasperated sigh came soon after, turning away to pace the clearing. You'd have to forgive me, though. It's so god-damned loud over there I was practically reading yer lips.

Turning back to him, she'd approach once more. A freindly wave of her tail above her haunches.

I am Eloise, Creachadóir amongst Ravorn's mercenaries. What about you?
