The mountain itself is by no means unusual, and even the forests held within a low fog are uneventful - yet the area coins its name for its unusual luck. For reasons unknown it is the first place storms tend to travel, where thunder utters its early approach. Looming black clouds seem to linger overhead for weeks on end, creating a dangerous place for any who choose to stick around while the close sound of low rumbling echoes above…

The white child still kept close tot his new caretaker, still shaken up by the ordeal but not as afraid as he was a few moment ago. Flicker guided him to his own makeshift shelter, going inside to where it was thickly blanketed by soft material and warmth. Sitjariaq also went inside through the darkened entrance, shaking out his coat so that it was at least halfway dry.
Then immediately joined him at his side, laying all curled up like a ball of marshmallow. At the question of speech, the boy shook his head no for now. Unsure if perhaps the fright might have just temporarily scared it out of him, or just the shyness talking. Instead he let Flicker take care of him, happy that someone wasn't just going to let this puppy fend for himself.
