They seemed startled at first at the sight of her, but calmed down at the offer of help. She was obviously still shaken by whatever fire had raged through before winding up here. She felt sorry for them. Circe waited patiently for a response, her head swimming with what was around that could help with the large burns on her side.

Her ears perked slightly as the little creature spoke. A fire, that much as obvious. But her expression remained soft and sympathetic. She couldn't imagine what it felt like to lose anyone in that way. She never really lost anyone to the cold grip of death. It was clear she had inhaled a lot of smoke, her voice rough as she tried to speak. The witch didn't move until it was clear that help was indeed wanted. I will be back shortly, don't worry, she murmured before turning around and heading back into the forest.

It took her longer than she liked, but she gathered all the herbs she wanted in some larger dock leaves. It would be strange trying to heal without her hands. But she would figure it out for the sake of the injured little cat. She came trotting back on swift paws, slowing when she got closer to the other. She set her little bundle of herbs to the side and sat down next to her. Some of this won't be pleasant, I won't lie. She made sure her voice was gentle to not cause her any more stress. Eat some of these poppy seeds. Just a few. It should help with the pain shortly. She nuzzled two seeds towards the cat's mouth before turning her attention to the large burn wounds that covered her small frame.

She chewed up some toadshade into a poultice, spreading it carefully across the burns. She worked slowly but deftly, aware of the pain that she was most likely still experiencing. She took a few celandine leaves and bit down on them to let the juices drip over her poultice. Finally, she covered the areas with dock leaves that would both help with the burns and keep all her work in place. Perhaps no the best, but that should help to start, she spoke again when she was done. Don't expect a quick recovery. But you will.

The woman stepped back a few paces before laying down. My name is Circe, by the way, she spoke up again. You don't have to talk if it hurts your throat too much. I wasn't able to find anything close by to help. She kicked herself internally for not being able to find anything. Though perhaps if she ventured a little further, she could. But that could wait a little while longer, when some of the pain ebbed for the stranger.
