It was unfathomable to the male, though he showed no signs of internal distress at the thought. Instead he let a small smile show, glad that Aurelia thought still so highly of him. That she believed he was more then good enough for her beloved sister. It made him feel proud and grateful beyond comprehension.
At the very mentioning of Sol however, the once stoic woman dropped her guard. Even if it was just for a moment. Nóttin had to hold back the urge to laugh, not necessarily at her, but just in jovial expression of his happiness for the two of them. What exactly their relationship was, he wasn't quite sure. But what was clear, was how they behaved around one another. How much they seemed to care for each other in their own unique ways.
Sol has always been such a rock for me and my family. The sun wolf of the Isblod, always ready to stand by her pack and defend. She's always been fun and we were very mischievous together as puppies, very much in competition with each other though in a friendly way.
He thought back fondly for a moment to their childhood, remembering for a short time how much closer they had once been. But that was before the war Mother had started, taking them along with her on a man hunt. Since then, Sol had changed. Especially after Father had left. It wasn't until she had met Aurelia that she seemed to perk up again. Nóttin was thankful for that.
Now despite her rather cold exterior to most, she is still quite dependable and trustworthy. I would put my life in her hands ten fold. But I am glad that she has found someone to care for so strongly outside of just family. What ever you two are to each other, I hope that you both find happiness in it.
