Oliver gave a tilt of his head, interested.
A woman assured, turning towards him yet not quite bothered to get up. He let out a soft hum of amusement.
”Curious, I would say.” He hardly thought she had anything he’d want. Perhaps he’d find out otherwise.
He’d pause for a moment, sniffing the air. ”Curious why you’re here, all on your lonesome.” He took it upon himself to sit, keeping a distance respectable to her still. ”Surely there’s lots of mean little beasts about these woods that would grab a pretty thing like you.” Those ears of his tilted forwards, and he let a rueful grin show teeth.
”No. Luckily I wish nothing from you.” He’d shrug, giving a lazy few wags of his tail. ”What’s your name?”
