But as she tried more to break through the barrier her mind pounded in protest. The cheering was all but background noise to her. She wasn’t sure who they were cheering for, nor did she care. She did care about those fermented berries though and what she may use them for. At the thought a wry smile curved her mouth.
She was so lost in thought that she wasn’t really paying attention to what she was seeing or where she was stepping and bumped into someone. With a soft oomph she looked down at the small wolf in front of her. She gave a low bow-
I’m so sorry, please forgive me, I was lost in my thoughts.
She stood and looked into the spider lily colored eyes of the smaller wolf, who seemed annoyed. Though she guessed she would be too if someone bumped into her so rudely and her ears twitched. She should’ve been paying more attention, or at the very least be sitting somewhere when her thoughts consumed her. It was just, it seemed to happen randomly, she couldn’t control where her thoughts went especially when the activities around her were so dull. As she inhaled though she caught a faint scent of herbs and named each one she could smell in her head.
Are you a part of the celebrating pack?
Tsukiko’s eyes bore into the smaller wolf’s. Her gaze pierced hers as she studied her and any movements she made. Carefully assessing.
