A mass gathering of freshwater falls, all sourced from underground springs. Not only is it beautiful, but also full of potential. Various types of fish can be found within the deeper pools, offering a stable source of food.

On this very calm morning, a very fluffy baby saw it fit to try her luck of getting some adventure. Pale teal eyes looked out of the den, then back at her siblings who seemed to be still asleep. But maybe her twin would like to tug along with her? A little poke towards the siblings fiery half came from her golden paws.
A squeak no quieter then a mouse left her lips. She wanted to get a move on without her Mutter gathering them all up, or scolding them with those harsh eyes. Lychee knew not to take it too personally, or that's what she tried to tell herself. Mutter did love them, just in her own way. Right? Regardless, the darker emotions didn't stay long, soon conquered by her larger need for exploration and adventure. All that was left, was getting someone to want to go along with her for the ride.

Cashew, while he was easy to get to sleep, woke at the slightest noise. His mother coming and going through the night, waiting until her pawsteps faded into the night before snuggling deeper into the pile of his siblings. He'd gotten used to waking up at all hours, so all it took was Lychee's small squeak to rouse him immediately.
Ears pricked, he turned towards her with an inquisitive look about him. He did not speak himself, as a glance around the den confirmed not only all his siblings were fast asleep, but Apple too. Cashew wouldn't wake her for anything, lest she woke up in a foul mood. He didn't like seeing her upset, so he figured the less she was awake, the happier she was. Although, she did seem lighter as per usual, and smelling of a stranger. He wondered who that might be, and if they were going to meet them.

A sharp smile reached Lychee's lips as she realized two of her siblings were stirring. Cashew was the first, looking more awake then she was expecting. A paw reached out to him, attempting to playfully bat at him to get out of bed. Then her fluffy pale coated brother woke next. Persimmon was looking way more sleeping then the others however, possibly taking more convincing to get out of bed.
She came over and gave him a quick nuzzle, then another squeak for him to follow her. Once she was far enough away from Mutter, her voice broke the silence. Come explorin with me? Borin alone. Lychee hoped that her two brothers wouldn't leave her all by herself, bored out of her mind, but also feeling slightly isolated. Maybe they would even have good ideas for what to do outside!

Cashew smiled gently when Lychee pawed at him gently. Any other time he might have leapt at the opportunity to play, but not when their mother was right there, sleeping peacefully. Permission was the next to wake, though he was obviously a deeper sleeper than Cashew, judging by the bleary look on his face. Cashew smiled at him too, but did not make to get up.
Lychee greeted their brother, before walking a little bit away from the sleep pile, asking them to follow and explore. Cashew's eyes widened a bit, and he glanced towards their Mutter again. Would she mind? If or when she woke and they weren't in the den, would she get angry, worried, or would she just not care? It was hard to judge how she would react. Cashew only knew what to expect from the norm, and didn't like branching out for this exact reason.

Lychee grumbled at the first brother, trying hard to tempt Cashew to come along for the ride. When he just sat there and blinked at her, she made an attempt to nip at him again. She wanted someone to play with! Explore with her! Luckily for the fireball of a child, Persimmon woke up relatively quickly at the prospect of going outside. Lychee turned to see him flop out of the furry pile, then running towards her. She squeaked with joy as he nipped at her, causing her to run further out of the den.
Instantly the light of the world outside nearly knocked her off her feet, but became quiet again as she noticed how dull it looked. Darker then she had expected, but still a pretty place to be. The beach had just been right outside, the ocean's waves gently lapping at the shore on low tide. Teal eyes looked over to her pale brother, happy that he had decided to join her. The only question left was, now what?

Cashew continued to simply sit there, brows furrowed. He really wanted to go out and play, - he had a lot of pent up energy - but he didn't want to get told off. He smiled weakly at his sister, trying to say sorry without waking anyone up, but Persi took care of that. With a trip, and a loud giggle, their mother roused enough to tell them not to leave the beach.
The young boy was too shocked at first to process what she'd said, worried she would be upset. But, as his siblings raced outside, Persimmon nipping at him on his way past, he blinked, and her instructions hit him. Permission! That was all he needed.
Hurriedly getting to his paws, though not without a few stumbles and trips, Cashew burst outside as quietly as he could manage. Immediately, he went for his siblings, play bowing, butt wiggling. Chase? He asked gleefully. He'd be the chaser!! He hadn't explored enough to be the chasee - he wouldn't know where to go!
