The male wandered the territory aimlessly, following the piss marks enough to make out the borders and traipse along them. Nose to the ground he sniffed out what he could of intruders, though honestly everyone but briar and now Lovett were strangers to him, and he tried to make out different scents between them all.

Lifting his nose to the wind he caught the faint scents of Briar and another on the wind. He stayed still and tried to make out if he could see Briar and her company in the distance.
